Well! Once again it is the “first day of the rest of my life” and I have begun yet another diet or should I say lifestyle change. This time Russ has joined me. I really must lose this weight and armed with a few more tools, lots of determination, and the support of Russ (who also will be losing weight with me) we begin the rest of our lives with hopefully what will become a little less of us.We are beginning our diets with a positive attitude. I was able to lose 60 pounds while here and had I not run into some emotional hurdles, it is likely I would not have stumbled and gained it back. I took on so much at one time. First, I moved to England from the States! Big move and lots of new challenges. Once that was accomplished, it was the immigration stuff to get through, the marriage to Russ (actual wedding), and then all that goes with a new relationship in a new country. Yep! That’s my story and I’m sticking to it.
Meanwhile, I will put here only the amount of weight I lose each week. I won’t even think about telling my real weight here but I will share the weight loss. What I can tell you is that Russ weighs 2 pounds more than me so…we both desperately need to lose. My goal is to reach my goal weight by May of 2008. The story will be told here.

Are you going to incorporate exercise into the regime?
I found that doing weights has really good results..better than just walking or swimming..

You can do it! I wish you and Russ luck with the new goal. I need to lose some weight, Bill needs to gain some weight. I am the heaviest person in the house- when we put the toilet back in place after putting down the bathroom floor, the wax seal leaked a bit. Once I sat on the toilet, then it properly sealed (it just needed a bit more weight to push it down). On the bright side, I suppose if I were not a little on the “fluffy” side, our toilet would still be leaking.
